WHAT: The University of Alaska Anchorage invites you to learn about available generalist forensic training and offer your input on your community's unique needs for improving forensic training to support ALL victims of violence.

WHO Should Attend: Healthcare personnel, emergency responders, law enforcement, city and tribal government, Legal & justice community, ICWA/CPS staff, elder and childcare facility staff, victim advocates, school nurses & personnel, college staff, behavioral health, military healthcare, corrections healthcare, dental providers, and any others that interact with victims of violence.

WHY:

Learn about training to promote equity of care to patients who have been a victim of violence.
Learn how to best document, care for, and if necessary, collect evidence.
Promote and provide trauma informed care and treatment of all victims of violence.
Become aware of training to assist in providing equitable healthcare to ALL victims of violence - children, adults, elders.
Enroll and complete training for Continuing Education Credits.
